Before heading into the canyon, you get a brief look at this ridiculously steep trail going straight up the side of Big Rock Ridge, which is north across Sir Francis Drake Road and Lucas Valley Road. Shortly after entering the canyon, I was confronted with a bunch of Blair-Witch-esque rock and stick constructions. Weird!

  

  

 

  

Beyond that, the canyon is a steep and dramatic affair, with no real trail to speak of, just climbing (or jumping) up the stream bed features.

  

  

  

  

At the right time of year, there are of course waterfalls tumbling out of here.
