A ring-neck snake: a small rubbery rarely seen snake. This one is only about
9 inches long, but is about the biggest I've ever seen. Its entire underbelly is bright orange, like the ring
around its neck. Below you can barely see its defence mechanism, where it corkscrews the end of its tail to
reveal a twirl of orange to try and frighten predators.
