Another hike from Moraga, but turning northeast. A few miles in you can see Rocky Ridge to the left, which shields Danville and is only visible from a few key places in the Bay Area.

Back to a summer hike now. After several miles in from Moraga, the ridge and it's rocky outcroppings rise above.

At the top an old ranch fence weaves along the ridge of rock.

Here an ancient tree is covered with some strange material, making it blend right in with the rocks.

Kicking back and enjoying the vastness of the EBMUD Watershed.

Another shot of the 2100 ft ridge, which from the tops you can see over the Oakland hills and down to San Francisco wharfs; pretty cool considering you are 20 miles away.
