There is a 14 miles loop trail around the lake. Easily done in one day with an early start.

This is farther North off the designated trail, but you get a great sweeping view of the whole Oakland-Berkeley-Richmond hill chain. San Pablo Reservoir is below, veiled in mist from the fog breaking on the hills.

Sneaking farther North to see if there is a passage to the Sobrante hill chain.
