We planned this trip to Death Valley for Spring '05 long ago, but it turned out to be a big news story about the extra rains creating a once-in-50-years wildflower display. So that was cool but the park was crawling with tourists. We like to camp outside the park in BLM lands anyway, but this time is was a necessity.
